Why Social Media is Destroying the minds of People and How Social Media Is Used to Spy on you.

No matter what you did today on your phone or computer, it’s likely that social media was involved. Did you catch up with friends on Facebook, post photos of your selfie on Instagram?

Ask your Parents or Grandparents to tell you how life was when they were at there Teen Years, they won't tell you they were staring at their phones all day staring at photos and liking picture. They will tell you they enjoyed physical activities and going out and meeting real people. How do you know the person you speak to Via Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook is the actual person behind the screen masquerading to be someone. Social Media is making people become Enslaved in a platform that can defile people by focusing more on their Instagram all day than there actual lives. I'm not saying Social media is good for the purpose of promoting your business, but to promote your life, is it really worth it? Because most people Decieve themselves pretending to be a Billionaire or a Social Celebrity, they not only Decieve other people but themselves too. Why not work hard in the real life and be successful rather than living in a phone screen all day showing the World you have big assets when in reality causes you to waste your life time which leads to Depression. Social Media is good if you use it properly and honestly not to be someone you are not. Every morning you have a habit of checking your notifications and with every like you get on your post you get a endorphin of hyperactive excitement making you think it's a huge accomplishment, till later you realise its nothing major and this constant habit starts to dictate your feelings in the real life coming from the deceptions of the fake social media which leads to depression.

A Study concludes that there is in fact a causal link between the use of social media and negative effects on well-being, primarily depression and loneliness. The study was published in the Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology. “What we found overall is that if you use less social media, you are actually less depressed and less lonely, meaning that the decreased social media use is what causes that qualitative shift in your well-being,” said Jordyn Young, a co-author of the paper and a senior at the University of Pennsylvania. “Prior to this, all we could say was that there is an association between using social media and having poor outcomes with well-being,” she said. The researchers say this is the first time a causal link has ever been established in scientific research. The study included 143 students from the University of Pennsylvania. They were randomly assigned to one of two groups: one that would continue their social media habits as usual or one that would significantly limit access to social media. For three weeks, the experimental group had their social media use reduced to 30 minutes per day — 10 minutes on three different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat). In order to keep these experimental conditions, the researchers looked at phone usage data, which documented how much time was spent using each app per day. All of the study participants had to use iPhones.

Deep fake Deception Social engineering and fraud are by no means a new threat to everyone. Deepfakes deception is a technology gone bad. This technology is being used to generate fake videos of people for scamming purposes leaving in individual in real trouble. These deepfakes are used for cyberbullying or to demand ransom from the target individual. China makes it a criminal offense to publish deepfakes or fake news without disclosure.

This type of attack is even done by falling facial recognition technology by facial spoofing attack that involves tricking facial recognition software into improperly recognizing an intruder as an authorized user. These presentation attacks are an open security issue and more susceptible to crime than any other biometric trait due to the ease with which faces can be accessed and reproduced.

How the Government are Spying on you?

The government are spying on you by advertising on marketing platforms to entice the population to joining social media thinking its a great way of connecting with friends and families, although it maybe, at the same time the government don't see it as social media, but only one for one purpose and that is for surveillance podium to make you grant your personal details in the form of social media unknowingly. As Technology is advancing which is Great but at the same time slowly the freedom of the population needs to be questioned. Intelligent Services can unlock your face camera without you knowing. They can track your location and listen to what you say especially with people most conveying smart phones. All Platforms from Technology to Other Industries all have a purpose supporting the Agenda of the Hidden hand Government leading to slowly taking away Freedoms of the population unknowingly. In a few years Artificial Intelligence will be introduced which is a robotic influence on the population which will have a severe effect on the human race along with the 5G which has immense microwave radiation used in Military-Grade Weapons which has possible effects of Cancer and weak immune system. We are Being Deceived of using government owned companies to allow them to Spy on the population unknowingly.

The recent privacy concerns involving What's app has strengthened call for making social media companies more accountable. The Facebook-owned messaging service was in the crosshair with the Indian government in October for the spyware attack that was first reported in May and confirmed by the company in October as the handiwork of an Israeli software company NSO Group that makes spyware for government agencies. While WhatsApp took NSO to court in San Francisco, it didn't save them the ire of the Indian government.

Electronics and Information Technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad express his concern over the breach of privacy and the targeting of Indian citizens.
